Cruising into Christmas ~ River Thames, Windsor

Christmas is just around the corner!

 

Departing from Windsor, enjoy topical and historical anecdotes along the route of the River Thames, narrated by your skipper, during this three hour cruise.

 

A delicious Christmas Lunch will be on your cruise along with some festive music. Be invited after your meal to join in the Christmas carols and classics like Rockin' around the Christmas Tree and a Winters Tale.

 

There will be a licensed cash bar on board along with a seasonal gift stall with fantastic stocking fillers to purchase.

Main Course:

Glazed roasted turkey breast, Pigs-in-blankets, Yorkshire pudding, Sage & onoion stuffing, Roasted potatoes, Roasted winter vegetables, served with buttered seasonal greens, gravy & bread sauce

 

Vegetarian option (on prior request)

Mushroom and chestnut wellington with a vegetable gravy, roasted potatoes and roasted winter vegetables served with buttered seasonal greens

 

Dessert:

Traditional Homemade Christmas pudding with brandy cream

We disembark back at Windsor, where your coach will be waiting to start our return back to Sussex. Please note there is no free time in Windsor.

Accessibility

 

The Georgian was built in 1996 and at this time accessibility was not at the top of the agenda and there is very little scope for modernisation. However the crew do their best to help. The Georgian is equipped with modern toilets and central heating for those chilly days, however, more importantly, open spaces for those sunny ones too. The coach can drop off within 20 feet of the vessel with a maximum of two steps onto the vessel (This can be less if the water level is low). When boarding the vessel there are two members of crew on hand to help support those that need it. It is with regret that the boat cannot board wheelchairs. Once inside the vessel there are four steps down into the saloon where food is served or seven steps up to the top deck.
