This is a 5 day tour to Leicester staying at The Hotel Brooklyn

The Hotel Brooklyn is located in Leicester city centre close to the Welford Road Stadium, home of Leicester Tigers rugby club. At the hub of the hotel is a unique space called The Grandstand, a social area filled with big comfy sofas and rich patterned armchairs where you can grab a drink and watch a movie, listen to music or just watch the world go by.

Day 1

We depart for Leicester, making comfort stops en-route including a lunch stop, arriving at The Hotel Brooklyn this afternoon.

Day 2

This morning we head to Melton Mowbray for market day. The town has a royal heritage that goes back to Richard the Lionheart. It is also home to Stilton, Red Leicester Cheese and of course the famous Melton Mowbray Pork Pie. Head inside Melton Carnegie Museum to see on original pie oven, grab a pie at Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe or visit the Anne of Cleves pub.

This afternoon we head for Newark-on-Trent. Perhaps visit the National Civil War Centre, Newark Castle or search for a bargain at one of the antiques centres in the town.

Day 3

Today is free for you to discover the city of Leicester at your own leisure including the Christmas Market.

The hotels location in the heart of the City makes many of the cities attractions in easy walking distance.

Day 4

After breakfast we make the short journey into Birmingham to visit the magical Frankfurt Christmas Market.

This is the largest authentic German Christmas Market outside of Germany and Austria and offers a range of tempting food and drink and well as a selection of unusual gifts, including Christmas decorations from Europe. You may find that elusive present you've been searching for.

We depart the Hotel after breakfast, making comfort stops en-route, arriving back in East Sussex this afternoon.
