This is a 5 day tour to Scotland, staying at the Peebles Hyro Hotel, Peebles

Built in 1878 as a health Spa, the original building was destroyed by fire and subsequently rebuilt in 1907. Today the hotel is part of the Crieff Hydro group and offers excellent facilities including swimming pool, restaurant and all the modern-day luxuries you would expect from a hotel of this standard.

This tour takes us to the biggest Scottish cities this winter time to enjoy the unique and exciting Edinburgh & Glasgow Christmas Markets, take this time to grab a last-minute gift or just relax with a warm drink.

Day 1

We depart for Scotland making comfort stops and a lunch stop en-route, arriving at the Peebles Hydro Hotel this evening.

Day 2

Our day takes us to Glasgow for the much-loved Glasgow Christmas Markets.

The markets encompass colourful stalls offering a selection of gifts, handmade products and world cuisine set in a festive village of rustic cabins and stalls. Whether you're shopping for a special gift or looking for a bite to eat, Glasgow's Christmas Markets will be sure to please.

Day 3

This morning we drive to Edinburgh's centre to enjoy our day at the Christmas Markets.

Edinburgh is a true Winter Wonderland at Christmas time. You'll find gifts galore, fantastic food and Christmas cheer a plenty. Take time to explore the markets, pick up some perfect presents and sample fine festive foods.

Day 4

After breakfast this morning we drive to the picturesque town of Melrose where we have free time to explore and enjoy the scenery. Perhaps visit Melrose Abbey, or one of the town's gardens or museums.

On the afternoon we return to the pretty town of Peebles where you are free to explore. Enjoy a wander along the high street for some retail therapy, or maybe the visit the Tweeddale Museum and Gallery.

Day 5

We depart the Hotel after breakfast, making comfort stops en-route, including a suitable lunch stop. Arriving back in East Sussex this evening.
