Southend seafront has a variety of quirky kiosks and outlets that sell some of the finest fresh doughnuts, fudge, candy floss and treats in town. There are also two main shopping centres that anchor each end of the busy High Street, where you'll find all kinds of great independent boutiques to the usual big name high street retailers.
If you walk along Southend High Street, towards the sea, your eye will be drawn in a straight line towards the longest pleasure pier in the world. With stunning views, the pier is the perfect place to go for a taste of the invigorating fresh air, and experience the freedom of the sea.
