Day 1

We depart for Scotland, making comfort stops en-route including a suitable lunch stop. Arriving at the Rob Roy Hotel, Stirling this evening.

Day 2

This morning, via Callander for a small break, we depart for Stirling, a city steeped in historic attractions and outstanding scenery. It is home to Stirling Castle, one of Scotlands most classically important sites, and other attractions such Stirling Old Town Jail and Holy Rude, a 15th century church.

In the afternoon, we head off to Glengoyne Distillery where we experience a Tour & Tasting. In the No. 1 warehouse, we learn what difference the wood makes to the spirit and then taste two whiskeys from the Glengoyne Collection.

Day 3

Our day begins with the Falkirk Wheel where we can enjoy a boat ride which lifts the boat up to join the Union Canal 35m above and sails smoothly from The Falkirk Wheel onto the Union Canal back to your starting point.

This afternoon we head for Callender House for Cream Tea. Afterwards, explore the French chateau styled house, complete with working Georgian kitchen.

Day 4

We head towards Balloch, an enchanting village on the foot of the Loch Lomond. Offering fantastic shopping and dining experiences, Balloch also offers a variety of attractions, such as Sea Life Aquarium, Bird of Prey Centre, and the Maid of the Loch, a 1953 paddle steamer with an art deco inspired interior.

Afterwards, enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond with views of stately homes and castles along the shoreline, as well as Inchmurrin Island - the largest of Loch Lomond's 33 islands.

Day 5

We depart the Hotel after breakfast, and make our way home with comfort stops and a lunch stop en-route. Arriving back in East Sussex this evening.
