Day 1

We depart for North Wales, making comfort stops en-route including a suitable lunch stop. Arriving at Bodelwyddan Castle late afternoon/early evening.

Day 2

This morning we make our way to National Trust's Bodnant Garden, a world-famous garden home to National Collections and Champion Tree. With intimate corners, sweeping lawns, grand terraces and verdant woodland, there are many gardens in one at Bodnant. Created over 150 years, with plants collected and brought to Britain from far afield, and the incredible vision of generations of the McLaren family and Puddle head gardeners, this haven of rarity and beauty with a stunning backdrop of the Carneddau mountains of Snowdonia is a delight for the senses. Please note that very little of the Garden is flat, the further into it you go, the steeper it gets.

This afternoon we visit Conwy, one of Britain's best-preserved medieval towns. Well-preserved ancient walls, the most intact in Europe, enclose a town of narrow cobbled streets, nooks and crannies chock-full of historic buildings. And that's just the half of it. The walls radiate out from a gritty, dark-stoned castle that, even after all these years, still preserves an authentic medieval atmosphere.

We have a day at leisure to enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day 4

Today we make our way to Llanberis where our first visit is to the National Slate Museum. Located in the Victorian workshops built in the shadow of Elidir mountain, site of the vast Dinorwig quarry, here you can travel into the past of an industry and a way of life that has chiselled itself into the very being of this country.

This afternoon we enjoy a return journey on the Llanberis Lake Railway where you will be taken on a five-mile return journey alongside Lake Padarn, right in the heart of Snowdonia.

Day 5

We depart the hotel after breakfast, making our way home with comfort stops en-route and a suitable lunch stop, arriving back in East Sussex early evening.

Please note: All Warner Hotels operate a cashless environment - To keep guests and teams safe they will not be accepting cash in any area of the hotel and all purchases must be charged to guest rooms. All guests must register a credit or debit card at reception to set up a room account during their stay for their purchases. Warner Terms and Conditions regarding Electric Scooters and Wheelchairs:

Warner welcome guests who are Blue Badge holders to bring their mobility scooter to our hotels and villages to use during their stay. To keep all of our guests safe, the guest must be booked into a ground floor room and the vehicle must be stored inside their room. Please note that if the vehicle is over 70cm wide it will be necessary to book a “Wheelchair Accessible Room”. Only 4mph pavement vehicles are permitted within our buildings and the owner must hold Public Liability Scooter Insurance. They will also need to bring their Blue Badge with them, as unfortunately due to limitation on space, we cannot allow anyone without a Blue Badge to bring a scooter inside the hotel. The individual is responsible for ensuring they are capable of safely operating their mobility scooter and for the security of their mobility scooter during their holiday.Warner accept no liability for any accident, loss of damage to the guest or their mobility scooter, except to the extent that such loss or damage arises from our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or sub-contractors.

Notes regarding L.J. Edwards

L.J. Edwards can take a maximum of 2 electric scooters/wheelchairs per short break, these must be for clients with a Blue Badge and Public Liability Scooter Insurance (subject to hotel agreement). L.J. Edwards accept no liability for any accident, loss of damage to the guest or their mobility scooter on a Short Break, or when the scooter/wheelchair is stored in the coach luggage compartment. The individual is responsible for ensuring they are capable of safely operating their mobility scooter and for the security of their mobility scooter during their holiday.
